Byzantine Mosaics

This is a project I do every year with my students. Inspired by the original artwork the students make their own interpretation of an Ancient Roman or a Byzantine mosaic. (The stained glass windows were added later after discussing the Gothic style). 

Here's the display of the 2013/2014 school year.
