Caravaggio to Canaletto, a stunning new exhibition that runs until 16 February 2014 at the Museum of Fine Arts in Budapest, celebrates glorious 17th- and 18th-century Italian paintings.
"For all its comprehensive sweep, it is the Caravaggios placed throughout the exhibition that linger in the mind: the humour, simplicity, effects of light and above all, ability to convey so much through the human gaze." (The Telegraph)
